Nature is all there is…

Nature is the original intelligence, life-force, evolution and transformative realm that just is. I like working with nature as the most primary source of all intelligence grounded in the body, clarity of thinking and depth of feeling. Most of all it doesn’t seek to enslave, manipulate or control. It is of free will and choice and in not wanting anything from you essentially encourages sovereignty and that is priceless. It demonstrates and shows how things can unfold naturally when one is allowed to be and grow in a way one chooses. I admire all things nature for that.

Another aspect is simplicity and inclusive sense of all belonging together and working together. It doesn’t try to be something it is not and has no concern for whether you are for it or against. To me it is the most perfect example of how to live. It is all consciousness and it doesn’t have labels. It has clear, purposeful, intentional cycles of life and death. In its inclusiveness it is perfection.

As an elemental and intuitive witch and all around nature-based spiritual practitioner, I have learnt from nature starting from the ground up with studying the nature elements and the qualities of each, which like a mirror reflected back to me what my qualities are; those that are weaker and those that are distorted and where I am most balanced. It taught me that listening to your own elemental self will never lead us astray. It just wouldn’t make sense for that not to be true.

Another thing that I can’t live without and is like breathing to me is beauty and where else one can experience things more beautiful than in nature. My belief has been for a long time that beauty will save the world. In nature it is not all butterflies and flowers, however, it is about survival and predation, violence and death yet even in those manifestations there’s immense beauty. One only has to experience a storm and the devastation it can cause or get in contact with the poisonous and dangerous species yet so stunning. I don’t believe it is always a disguise I believe it is meant to be beautiful in all forms. We only have to see it for what it is and not for what it is not depending on what our mind would tell us is good for us or our needs. Beauty is everywhere and it only takes one moment of immersion into something beautiful, however minute, allows a possibility of being pulled back into our own beauty, because we are one with that in our combined elemental nature. Nature brings enchantment back into our hearts and that enchantment can bring such changes to how we live.

Many treat nature as God and it is easy to see why and it is not wrong, but what I most appreciate is that it doesn’t see itself as either above or below. It just is, being, flowing and morphing from one manifestation to another without any concern for an external human or any other influence. It doesn’t have that need or awareness of that being necessary. It is sovereign and it encourages us all to be. It calls for us to get in touch with our souls and return to self, to the original.

To understand what I mean one only has to connect to something nature-based, anything of what you consider nature and in time a sight develops, things become clear, parallels are drawn and lessons learnt. There’s no greater teacher than our natural world and it will remain my religion, solace, happiness and peace.

Strawberry tree

A big tree like a mighty oak, one with a wide, embracing thick canopy, but instead of leaves on branches there hang big red ripe strawberries. They smell strong and juice looks about to burst out of them. I pull branches down and begin to pick the berries off and where I pick more grows in its place. Berries so fragrant and juicy overwhelm my senses and I can’t get enough of their delicious taste. I begin to think of how many people I can share these berries with, as there are so many. There’s plenty for everyone and I want others to taste what I taste. People, who seemingly own the garden where this tree grows watch me with great satisfaction, as this experience is meant to satisfy and delight. That’s the purpose of this bountiful tree and they rejoice in my pleasure of eating these berries that never run out.
A dream to remember that was gifted me on New year’s day!
Let us all hold hope, belief and abundance in our awareness for all the days that we are here. Life is a beautiful gift and we owe it to ourselves to have the most glorious fulfilling experience. Start with yourself always, whatever your goals, and extend it outwards. From within becomes without and the cauldron of your inner space is a sacred space. Remember you are always enough and whole no matter what. Taste that strawberry first, absorb its juice fully and then offer it to the world! With each morning comes another chance of life and if you let it be there’s abundance to be had.

Blessings on your journey.

What if we saw it for what it is…

Mental health issues are the result of the affliction of the soul, my belief still stands to this day, something I always knew since birth. For how long the lack of soul diving can sustain itself? It can live in suffering for a life-time, but then it is not a life, it is a compliance with what is structured and enforced, no more and no less. To me going against your soul is a crime, perhaps, the only real crime in this life-time. When going against your will and soul’s calling repeatedly a multitude of mental health problems occur. The good news, it can be changed once awareness is brought forward continuously, daily, with unwavering degree of dedication and commitment. It is an excavation work with of the highest order.

Imagine we as divine and unique beings that came here to manifest our gifts and express our essence instead got hijacked, plugged in and fed through a tube of enforced ideas and believes. Imagine we were given a life-script, which resembled almost word-by-word all the other scripts ever invented. Oh wait, there is only one script for all. We don’t need to imagine, do we? We comply and comply and try to implement a plan designed via this universally accepted script yet many fail and not just that but through trying so hard to cope with our own compliance our mental and physical health collapses, for some slowly for others quickly and dramatically. It is very simple and clear why that occurs, so you see?

We are not designed to be put in a box of what doesn’t feel good. In fact feelings are bad and simply of no significance or use and just nonsense according to this script, so forget feelings and just follow the script and that will be your life. Who are you to argue there’s something else out there? How dare you to consider anything else? What do you want to know yourself for when it is all laid out in front of you?

Issues arise when through suppression of our nature, urge, desire of the heart, creativity, freedom to speak and choose, living in a construct that suffocates most of us happen and it has been happening since the beginning of time. What if we fed our souls instead, what if we saw the truth of existence and the purpose of self-expression through life? All we need is to see, really see it all for what it is. There’s nothing to fear as your inner power had always outweighed any other power million times over. See into the external as if it was a film playing on the screen. How many times you’ve seen it before? Why is it on a loop? Try switching it off and tune into your inner story. There, that is new, interesting, vibrant waiting to be told. Extract the voice from within no matter what it takes as long as you hear it again after all this time. Tell your own original story to yourself quietly and savour every word. Let it come alive through words you speak and rejoice in its own narrative. How and why we forgot it? We know how and why; now we can see. We all fell for it as our parents did and their parents before them. We kept on falling until our knees didn’t bleed anymore, until there was no signs of any fall at all; out falling became automatic and invisible. ‘Just the way it is, just the way it is’, you hear parents say to a child when they ask a question why? Remember those whys and don’t want tos? We all heard in reply ‘because I said so, because it is just how it is, just something we always did and all we know’. Do you see the repetition in the cycle of deafness and blindness to our inner and giving out to the outer every time? We expect to be told what is what just like watching TV for instructors from government. Ask yourself who and what is government? The answer is staring us all in the face and always have done. We are a herd following the words of the so-called leaders, who are no more aware than we are. We are all just going in circles, afraid to get off the runaway train in case we fall and that time will notice the grazes, the blood. It is the blood that’s needed, a life released through feeling the pain accumulated within. All of us highly functioning individuals on depression and anxiety with coping mechanics so ingrained that we don’t think about it. We carry on regardless when all the time our souls scream in this hell that has been created for us and lured us in like blind into a place of suppressive deafness and mute submission.

What happens to all suppressed material it gets accumulated in our psyches like thick stagnated matter. It brews into dark manifestations and penetrates the unconscious; both collective and individual. What was once gifts turns into ‘demons’ we begin to see as enemies; something we need to go to war with. They erupt in violence, unspeakable acts against others and ourselves and others one by one join us in the war against our own goodness, our own awareness wanting to be known. We lose, we get even sicker, even madder, even more broken and so it goes on with more children born into this script, into this story of life that is death, devoid of soul speaking through us, into silence of what is to come.

Rise up from within, at least try. There is everything to gain if life is to feel content, balanced and our hearts soft and simply okay with whatever is here for us. We don’t surrender to external once we see it for what it is. It is follow and empty, it is grey and pointless. Why would we give any of our essence to that?

Imperfect beauty

imperfectly perfect

A tree bent by the wind is still a tree playing with possibilities

A river still or turbulent is still a river living through flexibility of flow

A creature with a scar to its skin is still beautiful if not more so, as it speaks to us of the whole

Nature is the ultimate ‘whole’, because it perfectly contains ‘the beauty and the beast’ in all its expression and life cycles. It is both in order and disarray all at the same time. Nature is open to all possibilities, sunny one minute and stormy the next. Nature is the imperfectly perfect representation of how life begins and ends, how it grows, flows, fights and remains still. The beauty of it all is often beyond words. What can be more humbling and awakening than when a human heart feels it deeply and knows the sheer majesty there’s in the natural world.

‘Parent within’ time

lessons for children

When the earth is pregnant and blooming and preparing for the birth of what is earthly bounty to come, my parent within begins to speak. Eleven years ago during this time I was myself in a place of blooming and preparing, scared of the unknown and excited by possibilities. What my parent speaks of today is lessons for our children. This is what I have learnt so far on my journey of growth alongside my child’s life.

 —————————————————–

Teach children to seek balance within themselves and see it in the world around them. Teach them integration and acceptance of what is at any given moment and that’s all valid and ok. Teach them while going after pleasure and enjoyment is humanly natural, but not to ignore or by-pass the pain and disappointment that life often brings. Teach them the sacredness of the body and spirit. Show them that emotions are rich and ever-present and not to be made an enemy of but to read them as navigators towards better understanding of yourself and the world.

Teach them the balance between hard work, relaxation and active rest. Show them that when things happen one doesn’t have to fall apart but to be with what is real and present. Show them graceful and integrated survival and reparation when things get touch. Be with them unconditionally. Show them that personal intimate connections heal, relationships based on love and respect transform. There is nothing that can’t be resolved and/or changed or looked upon with a new perspective in one way or another. Teach them that what is meant to be for them specifically will come about and if our desires do not match to outcomes then that is ok to change a course of action and re-evaluate. It is ok to go with the flow and flex with life as it goes.

For me an instant cure for constant disappointment came about through my mother’s teaching, who said to me one day in my early twenties ‘if something wasn’t for you, it is best it didn’t happen. It also might mean there is something better out there waiting to manifest’. It took me a few years to really understand the meaning of it, but subsequently my life became a lot easier having integrated that perspective into my way of living. I will forever be grateful for that to my mother.

What my son and I often say, which, perhaps, is another side of the same coin is ‘it is not the end of the world’. It is not to say that we shrug everything off and remain unaffected, no, what it means that we feel what we need to feel, accept it within ourselves, give ourselves whatever we need and move on with the knowledge that this is just one roadblock amidst many others that will come throughout life, but there is nothing to fear essentially and there is no reason to think things won’t change or we won’t recover or survive.

Teach them to differentiate and sort through what is essential vs non-essential. This will apply to all aspects of their developing lives and the way they see the world. Talk to them about what they find the most enjoyable and what hurts them the most. Listen. Get to know them as a whole. Teach them that the world is full of pain and suffering, but it is also filled with such beauty and divinity that no words would never be enough to describe it. Teach them to feel like through the heart, not just the head. Teach them that being kind to yourself and others can be a way of living and that giving and receiving are equally important. Teach them connections to themselves and others and that emotional bonds can last a life-time.

Teach them that magic is real and that magic is within them. There is nothing they can’t do and the inner power and divinity is just as vital and alive within them as their thinking mind and emotions. Teach them to see themselves and other as a whole, unique, beautiful and worthy of all the wonderful things world has to offer. Teach them sacredness of nature and its powerful lessons. Show them that relating to plants, animals and nature cycles strengthens compassion and helps navigate everyday.

Most importantly show them they are loved and valued just the way they are. Show them there is nothing and could never be anything wrong with them and that choices are there for them to take for as long as they remain open in their heart and curious in their mind.

Much love and many blessings!

Beauty will save the world

image

Can you remain unchanged once you lay eyes on a sunset over the ocean
Can you go back to the place of murky greyness when you witness the storm
Off the shore of wild and beautiful land
Can you not carry with you the spiritual splendour of green mountains leaning over purple lands
Can you live unchanged once you walked barefoot through a fir forest of fragrant giants filled with sounds only comparable to haven’s voice

Raw Nature Spirit

A letter to myself

inner wisdom

I opened a letter today, which I stored in a safe place back in May this year. A letter from the Goddess to myself, from my wise-self, from my inner voice and spirit. I felt it was the right time to open it up and read it again and, as always, the timing has turned out to be just right for the messages, which go beautifully with the process of re-birth, re-integration, release and grounding in life.

“Dear Natalia,

Oh, why so sad, impatient, grumpy? Where is the light of softness? What are you being and becoming?

Help is all around you. Love is all around you

An embrace of your son. A reassuring chest of your husband.

I am also here always out and in.

What are your convictions, priorities, morals? What is the core of your religion?

You find and settle on that and you will find peace.”

This reminds yet again to take myself back to what I have right now and what is essential vs non-essential.

Have a blessed day!
